வின்சென்ட் ஸ்மித்
வின்சென்ட் ஆர்தர் ஸ்மித் (Vincent Arthur Smith, 1843–1920)[1] டப்லினில் பிறந்த இந்தியவியலாளர், வரலாற்றாளர் ஆவார். இவர் வங்காளக் குடியியல் பணியில் ஆக்ரா, அவாது ஆகிய இடங்களில் 1871 முதல் 1900 வரை பணியாற்றினார்.[2] இளைப்பாறிய பின்னர் இவர் இலக்கியம், வரலாறு போன்ற துறைகளில் ஈடுபடலானார்.

பேரரசர் அசோகர், முகலாயப் பேரரசர் அக்பர் உட்பட இந்திய ஆட்சியாளர்கள் பலரைப் பற்றி இவர் நூல்கள் எழுதியுள்ளார். இந்திய, மற்றும் இலங்கையைச் சேர்ந்த நுண் கலைகள் பற்றி நூல்கள் எழுதினார்.[1]
